The Basic Units of study for all Pain Management Fellows takes place at the Comprehensive Pain Clinic at 推荐最近最火的赌博软件 Bone and Joint Center and the 眼科手术 Center (ASC), 在哪里?, spend alternating days between their outpatient clinic duties and ASC 过程s.

They will participate in secondary sites at the 锡拉丘兹 Veteran's Administration Pain Clinic and Community General Hospital on alternating rotations. The fellows are involved in the office-based chronic pain 评估 and 过程s involving Dosal Column Stimulator trials and permanent implants, Peripheral Nerve Stimulator trials and implants, Intrathecal Infusion Pump implantation with anesthesiologists and neurosurgeons.

The Fellows also rotate with the departments of Psychiatry, 姑息治疗, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Neurology (and 麻醉学, if not part of the fellow's residency) as part of the ACGME required curriculum.

Volume and Types of Cases

As a Pain Management Fellow you will be exposed to a large variety and volume of cases.

These types of cases include (but will not be limited to):

• Chronic back and neck pain
• Musculoskeletal/Joint pain
• Chronic Neuropathic Pain including CRPS & Peripheral Neuralgias
• Chronic Headaches and Facial Pain Syndromes
• Persistent Post Surgical Pain
• Truncal and Abdominal Pain
