Medical doctors treat patients of all ages and conditions in a variety of specialties – pediatrics, 家庭医学, 神经外科, 麻醉学, 急诊医学, obstetrics/gynecology, 手术, 精神病学, ophthalmology and more. Physicians use the latest technology and evidence-based treatments to care for their patients. After earning their MD degree in medical school, which takes four years, graduates spend from three to seven years in a residency program in their chosen field.

LICENSES AND ACCREDITATION
The Norton 医学院 is fully accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, which accredits programs leading to the MD degree in the United States and Canada. United States graduates of LCME-accredited programs are eligible for residency programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and are eligible to take the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
