The 上州医科大学 急诊医学 program in Syracuse, NY provides its residents with one of the highest quality learning environments in both academic and community settings. The Department of 急诊医学 exists to promote the specialty of 急诊医学 and related specialties through excellence in scholarly patient care, 教育, 和研究.

• Annual curriculum enhancements including community medicine, bi-annual retreats and expansion of evidence-based medicine, 等.
• In 1993 the 急诊医学 Training Center was established.
• In 1995, 推荐最近最火的赌博软件 急诊医学 began providing medical coverage for all major events at the Carrier Dome, including Syracuse University athletic events. This provides residents with opportunities to train providing emergency care at mass gathering events.

• In 2016 the new Pediatric Emergency Department opened, providing a dedicated space centered on pediatric care. With bright colors and its own x-ray suite, patients under the age of 19 can get the best care possible.
• The 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic required a hospital-wide response with the Emergency Department playing a central role. The department was divided into "clean" and "dirty" sides to better serve our patients and protect staff.

The first graduating class of six residents completed their training in 1995. 校友 have spread throughout the United States and have found jobs in a variety of clinical settings including fellowship positions.
